Summary of Position
Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. The Restaurant Manager will oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity.
The Restaurant Manager is expected to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences. While member dining will be the focus of this position, the Restaurant Manager would also be expected to assist with special events such as weddings, golf tournaments, and member social events.
Responsibilities
Human Resources:
· Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations and create a weekly schedule to ensure proper staffing due to upcoming events and members' needs, organizing and supervising shifts.
· Motivate Front of the House staff to create a positive work culture and a team environment.
· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
· Provide onboarding and train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
· Address and resolve member concerns and suggestions, general service staff, and team member attitude as it concerns the restaurant.
· Monitors employee dress code according to policies and procedures.
Day-to-Day Operations:
· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
· Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
· Manage the restaurant's appearance and suggest ways to improve. Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products.
· Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
· Oversee pool food and beverage operations for quality standards, sanitation, and efficiency by working with the senior pool managers and bar staff.
· Develop an operating budget for the Restaurant in conjunction with the General Manager and Executive Chef revenue outlets; after approval, monitor and take corrective action as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are attained.
· Maintain and monitor food and beverage timekeeping records.
· Greets guests and oversees the actual service routine daily.
· Manage and curate music and entertainment selections for F&B programming.
· Alcohol Ordering and inventory management for all aspects of the F&B program.
· Ensure all alcohol orders are secured and put away promptly to prevent theft.
· Bar Sheet, Event Bar setup, and Beverage Cart management.
· Keep accurate par levels for all beverages, including Coke, Beer, Wine, and Liquor.
· Weekly tally of Nonalcoholic bar inventory, including mixers, disposables, and garnishes - communicate with the Executive Chef for ordering needs.
· Weekly tally of coffee, coffee items, and tea – communicate with the Executive Chef for ordering needs.

Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday: 1 pm-Close | Sunday: 9 am-3 pm
