Hunting Energy Services is Hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer Near Milford, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Create safe job procedures for new equipment, installations, or modifications.
  • Compile OEM information (operation maintenance manual) and participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs), spares requirements, and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment.
  • Oversees failure analysis of mechanical components.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and final assembly as it relates to mechanical systems.
  • Coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates and justifications for the capital expenses.
  • Interface with vendors, including evaluation of equipment and recommendation of plant items for procurement.
  • Designs mechanical components for assembly operations and inspection methods.
  • Designs effective measuring techniques for manufacturing that adhere to corporate quality specifications and all references to industry standards.
  • Designs manufacturing equipment and evaluates for effectiveness, ease of use, set up, and repair.
  • As needed, coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.
  • Works closely with the maintenance manager to identify and implement equipment and facility improvements.
  • Contributes to business strategy discussions.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
  • Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs in line with the implementation of process and facility improvements.
  • Adheres to all safety standards and requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Education and Training
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree (M.S. preferred) in Mechanical Engineering.
  1. General Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role in a manufacturing plant with relevant work experience.
  • Able to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Able to provide improvement to processes as required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, manufacturing processes and materials.
  • PLC programming experience preferred.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and relevant drafting standards.
  1. Technical Requirements / Skills
  • Must demonstrate strong technical, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with terminology used in and around the business community.
  • Able to recognize and be discreet with sensitive financial, personnel, and other business-related information. 
  • Able to manage and work with people in a harmonious way to accomplish the task assigned to this position.
  • Able to adapt and function in an environment of changing goals and priorities often under tight time constraints.
  1. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

Must have a valid driver’s license and record that conforms to company’s insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State of other required Hazmat training.

  1. Work Authorization / Security Clearance:
  • Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.
  • Must be US citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the United States (student Visa does not quality), in accordance with ATF regulations.
  • Must not have any personal or legal domestic or international travel restrictions.
  • Able to travel to and from customer locations.
  • Bilingual a plus.
