HUNT ELECTRIC is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice Near Highlands, CO

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Littleton, CO is searching for a full-time Electrical Apprentice to join our team within the Electrical Division. Can you adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, pulling wire, bending pipe, and computing electrical formulas? Can you install control circuits and other components? Are you able to read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints? If so, keep on reading!

Hunt Electric has apprentice classifications that reflect each of the four years of the apprentice program. Daily job functions should reflect the expected skill proficiency at a given Apprentice level. An employee’s advancement from one semester to the next is based on acceptable job performance and the successful completion of the apprenticeship requirements for the given level. The apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship). A Hunt Electric-sponsored Apprentice is eligible for tuition assistance through CITC, Construction Industry Training Council under the Hunt Tuition Assistance policy.

Major Duties:

  • Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, a goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code
  • Be a self-starter
  • Be dependable
  • Learn to think like an owner and to live the “Quality, Integrity, Performance and Versatility” creed
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager

This full-time Electrical Apprentice position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. As a full-time Electrical Apprentice electrician, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). A Hunt Electric-sponsored Apprentice is eligible for tuition assistance under the Hunt Tuition Assistance policy. If this sounds like the career opportunity that you’ve been looking for, apply today!

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($14.80-$27.00 per Hour). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Hunt Electric, Inc. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Participation in the Company bonus programs for each plan year are subject to management recommendation and internal committee review.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program
  • Have an active Colorado State DORA Apprentice Registration
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Be at least 18 years old
