Temporary Optometrist- New Hampshire (Dartmouth/Sunapee Region)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated optometrist to join our team on a temporary basis. As a temporary optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and offering expert advice on eye health and care. This position is temporary and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our practice while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and overall eye health.
• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as refractive errors, eye infections, and diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids as needed.
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to patients regarding eye health, hygiene, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including examination findings and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and opticians, as necessary.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Valid state optometry license and DEA registration (if applicable).
• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work on temporary assignments as needed.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of (three to six months) Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
