The Role:
As a Construction Project Manager at Hume Construction INC, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and the project team, coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee construction projects of varying sizes, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage relationships with clients, architects, onsite crew, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and enforce project standards.
- Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with exposure to both residential and commercial projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, BuilderTrend).
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
