HumanHire is Hiring a Medical assistant Near Fishkill, NY

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our client's team in Fishkill. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support in a clinical setting.

What's in it for you?

  • Location : Fishkill, NY
  • Pay : $20-22 / hour plus benefits and weekly pay!
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities :

  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, recording medical histories, and taking vital signs.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance documentation.
  • Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
  • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following proper protocols.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

  • MUST BE VACCINATED* (booster not required)
  • Medical Assistant Certification OR at least 1 year of clinical experience required
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
