Seeking to hire a Sales Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to provide the sales and senior management teams with in-depth analysis to assist them with new business quotes and profitability analyses of products and customers. In this position, the individual will be required to calculate and present the profitability of servicing products to customers, maintain price lists in the Company’s ERP system, and uphold a high level of discipline in the Company’s pricing strategy. This role will also provide an in-depth analysis of the Company’s customer base to help the sales team make the best pricing decisions. The role will help shape the future of the organization's growing sales structure by creating new tools and reports to assist in leading the sales team.
Paper product manufacturing
- Provide price quotes to the sales team based on the Company’s cost-to-service
- Maintain current price lists for all customers and customer locations in the ERP system
- Maintain, update, and innovate pricing models to support sales team and senior management in evaluating new business opportunities
- Work collaboratively across all aspects of the business to better understand all components of pricing, including bill of materials, freight, and customer rebate programs
- Tracking customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings
- Sales analytic tool creation to help lead the sales team
- Assist with Monthly Financial Revenue Reporting
- In-depth analysis of monthly Revenue
- Assist with Budget Preparation and Maintenance
- Address issues and concerns raised by team members related to pricing
- Report issues and concerns related to pricing to senior management
- Uphold a high level of discipline of the Company’s pricing strategy
- Modeling of item and customer P&L’s to enable and inform pricing decisions
- Ad hoc reports as required and participate in weekly company performance metrics
- Troubleshoot processing errors and analyze and correct data issues
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or in a related field; MBA or CPA a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable with numbers and large databases
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities
- High level of integrity
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and focus on teamwork
- Self-starter that takes initiative to seek work and broaden scope and depth of knowledge
