As a custodian, you'll support our mission by providing a safe and clean space for animals and our community. An ideal candidate is punctual, prepared to work, respectful, and task oriented.

In this role you will:

• Maintain tile floors through stripping, buffing, and refinishing
• Sweeps and mops all public areas, other than kennel areas
• Clean and scrub carpeted areas as needed
• Maintain the security and maintenance of equipment and tools
• Keep accurate records of work and scheduled services for equipment
• Receive, load, and unload supplies as needed
• Set up tables, chairs, and furniture for events and meetings
• May help with snow removal from sidewalk areas as needed
• Provide assistance with supply procurement
• May occasionally assist at our Maryland Heights location
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience of up to three months in a related field
• Possession of a valid Driver's License is required
