As a User Experience Design Lead, you will:
Take the lead in User Experience design, developing industry-leading, high-value mobile and web-based experiences to simplify the member plan experience for multiple lines of business.
Translate consumer insights into design strategies and execution that meet real user needs.
Serve as a primary point of contact with cross-functional partners in your workstream, ensuring alignment of UX deliverables.
Build trust and consensus with key stakeholders and varying senior leaders by utilizing storytelling, user journeys, prototypes, and other UX strategies to articulate complex concepts, customer problems, and potential solutions.
Create strategic design deliverables such as strategy decks, visions of future experiences and evangelize these strategies across different teams and workstreams.
Develop and lead workshops aimed at discovering hypotheses, exploring potential solutions, building enthusiasm, establishing shared understanding, and promoting team alignment.
Ensure that digital principles, standards, styles, design patterns, and renderings are followed and represented correctly.
Partner with CX Insights to create long-term research strategies and facilitate ongoing discovery and iterative delivery.
Partner with Content Strategy to continuously drive and improve content, navigation, and site architecture.

Role Essentials
At least 7 years of experiences as a Product Designer, User Experience Designer, or Interaction Designer
Must submit an online portfolio that demonstrates the ability to create compelling mobile consumer user experiences
Strategically adept with a penchant for curiosity
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Experience designing with business, technical, and design guideline constraints
Ability to adapt existing processes and deliverables when necessary to meet project needs and improve efficiency and quality
Demonstrated ability to design complex transactional user interfaces and interactions
Experience creating conceptual models, site maps, interaction flows, design patterns, and design specifications
Demonstrated experience in defining research criteria, leading or participating in user research, and translating user research into design decisions
Strong track record of iterating and delivering digital products within agile team
Deep experience creating interactive prototypes
Mastery of Figma
Role Desirables
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience
Significant relevant work experience may substitute for an advanced degree
Self-starter who can make significant progress with minimal guidance
Experience creating inclusive and accessible designs, particularly for senior adults
Ability to be flexible in a fluid and dynamic environment
Must be extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities effectively
Familiarity with online usability testing platforms such as UserZoom or Usertesting.com
Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
