Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Population Health team. The Project Manager will direct the planning, operation, and growth of leading-edge health data projects that use data to transform health care across the nation. This role is responsible for working simultaneously on more than one project within a cross-functional team – including data engineers, data scientists, research associates, project managers, and subject matter experts – to achieve project goals and deliverables on time and on budget. This role is expected to strategically and tactfully determine resolutions to issues as they arise without direction, and anticipate consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change.
Who We Are
HSRI is a nonprofit organization that conducts research and evaluation to improve health and human service systems. We work at the local, state, and federal levels. We help develop measures, data collection instruments and protocols, advanced analytics, and data visualization strategies. Our goal is to help public agencies understand and demonstrate the real-world impact of the services they provide, helping them transform their policies and practices to improve their outcomes.
The Population Health team builds data systems to collect, analyze, and report health care data to improve the quality of health information available for research, policy, and practice. Our data helps health policy makers improve population health and health care delivery and aids consumers in choosing where they receive care. To advance equitable solutions, we are working towards health data systems that can disaggregate data to show the effects of policies and practices that have been shaped by structural racism and other forms of discrimination — and to envision solutions that can create an equitable future for all communities.
Our teams have an unwavering commitment to envisioning equitable policies and solutions that create a stronger society for us all. HSRI is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse team, bringing as many possible perspectives as possible to bear on services that can profoundly affect people’s health and well-being by addressing social determinants of health. We are committed to building an inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds can come to do their best work.
