DPS Group TSO is Hiring a Project Manager (Construction) Near Cambridge, MA

Summary
A Construction Project Manager in the life sciences manufacturing space is responsible for the overall direction, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This Project Manager is responsible for applying advanced Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems.
Responsibilities
  • Daily on-site Construction Management for multiple projects – monitor construction contractors for (each project) daily, monitoring for PPE and safety compliance, assisting with issuing safety permits and handling day to day construction questions. Escalating concerns and discussing with manager or other stakeholders as required.
  • Experience commanding status meetings and effectively holding team members accountable for status, deliverables, and timely escalation of potential issue of project delays.
  • Redline drawings final as-built drawings and work with CAD group to get drawings updated, request new drawings etc. Work with CAD group to assemble TOP package docs.
  • Ensure construction work is proceeding on schedule and work is being performed in a high-quality manner according to the drawings and project specifications.
  • Change controls working with Quality group to draft change controls and gain stakeholder alignment.
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively organize, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve goals.
  • Work with vendors to specify and gather budgetary pricing for new equipment as needed.
  • Gather pricing and assist with scoping upcoming projects.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong long-term relationships, communications and interact professionally with a diverse group of Executives, Managers, and Subject Matter Experts in both Construction and business unit groups
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and Application Quality Assurance to provide continuity and promote a consistent understanding of the business requirements and objectives throughout the full lifecycle of the project
  • Actively anticipate, track and plan for project risks and issues, dependencies, and resourcing
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
  • Min 10 years working in Biotechnology/ Novel Therapy Capital Projects and Construction Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of Engineering Change Controls and GMP manufacturing practices
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.

  • Mathematical Ability - Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability - Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
