Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
-Collect copays and deductible payments for visits
-Verify active insurance prior to visit
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist is a plus
