Summary of Job:
We have an immediate opening for the right candidate to take on the responsibility of Shop Foreman, specializing in leadership, assisting with fulfilling orders, learning/helping/teaching our sanding/staining/finishing processes and shipping wood products. Responsible for Inventory Controls and processes. Working side by side as well as managing a staff of 4-5 finishers, drivers and shop workers.
This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed. An employee will be required to follow any other job-related duties required by the management.
Qualifications:
- Management Experience
- Leadership experience in a construction warehouse
- Experience staining and painting a plus
- Must be detailed oriented and able to maintain inventory procedures
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Forklift certification a plus but not required
- Box truck driving experience a huge plus but not required
- Be able to pass a background check
- The ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and carry at least 75 pounds personally, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Responsible for supervisor of equipment maintenance including trucks and forklifts
- Maintain safety protocols
- Shifts may vary according to project demands.
- Must have a positive attitude and great work ethic
