Hughes Fire Equipment, Inc. Springfield facility is currently accepting resumes for the position of Contract Administrator. Some general information about the position is listed below. Resumes will be accepted immediately.

Under the direction of the Vice President of Contract Administration, you will perform specialized and skilled work involving the contracts of a variety of fire and emergency apparatus.


Summary of Job Description:

As a Contract Administrator with Hughes Fire Equipment, Inc. an employee will represent our company based out of our Corporate office in Springfield, OR. The perfect candidate will be organized, have a friendly personality, possess strong computer skills, have exceptional and professional phone, email, and in-person customer service skills. The employee must be able to conduct themselves professionally in a busy work environment.


Essential Functions:

  • Assist other members of the Contract Admin Team with proposal review and preparation to ensure all necessary proposal documentation is complete, meets all legal requirements and is properly executed
  • Process post-order placement documentation, including order acknowledgement, customer invoicing, accounts payable documentation, accounts receivable tracking, internal service notifications, title documentation and job file balancing for job costing
  • Participate in dealership sales objectives contributing to dealership profitability
  • Participate in dealership team
  • Work closely with sales representatives and contract administration team

  • Microsoft Office Program Knowledge is a MUST (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong Accounting knowledge pertaining to accounts receivable/payable and job costing

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with accounting courses
  • College education preferred.
