Job Title: Territory Sales
Reports to: Rental Sales Manager
Job Purpose: Rental & Sales for Arkansas Territory by making sales calls, renting containers & generating new customers
Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness & safe manner
Essential Job Duties
1. Rents Containers and Storage Offices
Locating inventory to meet customer needs
Making sales calls both in person and by phone
Being aggressive on new construction job sites
Searching out new and different applications for rental inventory
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms
Consult with clients in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
2. Establishes New Rental Customers
Generating new customers through credit applications
Being out of the office and in the field at least three to four days per week
Focusing on new accounts
Representing the company at association events and trade shows
Other Duties:
1. Assist Other Departments
Calling in when on the road at least one to two times per day
Working with other departments on customer accounts
Completing other special projects as assigned by supervisor
2. Follows Boundaries for Position
Being honest Discussing discounts greater than 20% with supervisor
3. Any Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications:
Required Skills/ Experience
Minimum 3 years sales related experience
Ability to present and sell at all customer levels
Ability to work in fast-paced environment while multi-tasking to meet customers' needs Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to organize and independently manage time
Clean driving record
Education
College degree preferred
High School Diploma with relevant experience
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions:
This position will be working in operating facilities and outdoor traveling to numerous customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply.
This position is continuously required to talk or hear and regularly required to sit, stand, walk or climb.
Must be able to frequently lift up to 100 pounds.
Position requires driving a vehicle to and from customer locations.
