The Osborn is hiring a Registered Nurse to join their team in Rye, New York. Pay range $44.11-$50.61. Plus, shift differential. 
 
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents within their scope of practice and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As a representative of the Nursing Department, and of the organization, it is required that the RN perform the essential functions of the job in a professional manner, with a positive attitude and is aware and supportive of the mission, vision, resident Bill of Rights, policies and procedures of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides direct nursing care to residents based on their individual needs.

• Orders prescribed medications, supplies and equipment as necessary to meet resident needs.

• Documents in the resident’s medical record in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures.

• Follows all State and Federal regulations regarding Abuse and Resident’s Bill of Rights including right to be free of pain, and HIPAA guidelines. 

• Maintains the resident’s right to privacy, dignity, and individuality in all care/activities performed.

Job Qualifications:

• Must possess a current NYS Licensure to practice as a RN

• Must be CPR Certified

• EMR experience, preferred 

• Must have computer literacy and ability to train effectively on new patient care systems.

• Must have experience in Long Term Care
