The Osborn is hiring a Registered Nurse Supervisor to join their team in Rye, New York. Salary range $85,600.00-$106,000. Evening shift Monday-Friday and E/O Weekend, 3:30pm-11:30pm.
 
As a Registered Nurse Night Supervisor is to supervise the nursing activities of the facility on the night tour of duty for our 84 bed Skilled Nursing facility. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal and state standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Service to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As a supervisor in the organization, it is required that the Supervisor works in close partnership with the Director of Nursing, Administrator and other disciplines across the campus for the long-term, strategic growth of the organization and its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Makes frequent rounds on each nursing unit, to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards

• Works closely with nurses on each unit providing guidance, delegating responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their duties.

• Participates in employee performance evaluations, making recommendations to the Director of Nursing with regard to follow up required, staff development needed, and any disciplinary protocol required.

• Monitors clinical condition of the residents, provides the physician or nurse practitioner with pertinent information regarding resident problems and changes in the resident’s condition

• Performs other duties as directed by DNS or designee

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing education

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in New York State

• 2 Years of management experience, required 

• 4 Years of experience as an RN. required

• Must have experience in Long Term Care
