The Recruiter is responsible for supervising and managing hiring needs. The goal for the Recruiter is to build and maintain a talented and loyal workforce across all divisions, stabilizing and improving bottom-line margins. In addition, the eventual development of the Recruiter should progress to being able to take on a larger human resources role.The role is with a growing company that is also backed by a Private Equity firm.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.• Experience in recruiting and marketing• Experience in transportation or logistics• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically working with Excel.• Strong proven and demonstrated communication, organizational, and leadership skills.• Ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgment.• Interest in a long-term career opportunity.Responsibilities• Work closely with leadership to determine manpower needs• Advertise for, locate, and screen new employees as needed for various work centers.• Manage the onboarding of new employees in person and remotely, delivering a new employee fully ready to work to the manager• Manage various business projects from transportation to data recording and analysis.• Develop effective operations to drive efficiency.• Counsel, train and develop teammates to allow for improved recruitment and retention• Resolve issues in an efficient and timely manner to obtain the optimum results possible• Understand quality control and how it ultimately effects our business longevity• Work closely with ownership in strategic planning and forecasting for tactical execution of operational objectives.• Align the direction of the company to meet company goals and objectives.If you are interested in learning more about the company and this career opportunity as a Recruiter, apply today!
