Vicar's Landing is hiring a Lead Server for the Sawgrass campus as a Full-Time job in Ponte Vedra, FL.
The Lead Server is responsible for supervising and directing all front-of-house staff to assure a satisfying dining experience for all Members and providing support to the Dining Room Manager and Assistant Dining Room Manager. This position also maintains communication with staff and management and will assist with the POS system to ensure all charges are closed correctly.
On a daily basis, the Lead Server conducts a walk-through of the dining room, delegates assignments, side-work, and daily cleaning. Weekly, this position schedules for the dining room within budgetary constraints and will also help with special functions. Also, this position does NOT accept tips.
Vicar's Landing is a retirement and assisted living facility located in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Job Requirements:
- Equivalent to 4 years of high school or a GED
- One to two years of fine dining waitstaff, bartending, service, and/or host or hostess experience is preferred. Dining room supervisory experience is a plus.
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Knowledge of and skills in various business software
- Maintains established standards of professional appearance
- Effective communication skills
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job
