A beautiful privately owned nursing home located near Franklin Park, IL is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable MDS Assistant / Restorative Nurse
Qualifications :
- Must have IL Restorative Certification
- Must have experience as a Restorative Nurse
- Must have MDS experience
- Must know MDS 3.0
- Must have skilled nursing experience
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Description : Assessment of residents to determine type of treatment and schedule therapy. Select rehabilitative and therapeutic activities and exercises based on medical and social history of residents.
Evaluate type of therapy most desirable after consulting with the physician and therapy personnel.
- Works with nurses in developing a restorative plan of care.
- Consults with nurses in making recommendations for a restorative plan of care.
- Reports progress of restorative nursing measures.
