Hudson Valley Regional Community Health Centers, with locations in Brewster and Poughkeepsie, seeks a full time Head RN for our Brewster health center. Benefits include a generous leave package, health/dental/vision benefits and 401(k) participation.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing clinical supervision and providing administrative oversight of the nursing staff

The Head Nurse will oversee the nursing staff and provide direct service in:

Performing patient triage;

Assisting clinician with examinations and medical procedures;

Taking and recording patients' vital signs;

Administering medication, as directed by providers;

Performing venipuncture as directed by providers;

Reviewing and recording incoming medical documents;

Recording data into the EMR;

Monitoring operations to maintain compliance with New York State Department of Health and HRSA regulations;

Candidates must possess:

A degree from a Nursing Education program, acceptable to the NY State Education Department;

A New York State Registered Nurse license;

Basic Life Support certification;

Three years experience as an RN; and

At least one year of experience as a Head RN a plus.
