Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As an ultrasound technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic utility.
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding and cooperation during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an ultrasound technician.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting images.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
