About Us
Hudson Roastery is expanding and looking for a talented, experienced baristas to join our team. We have become a destination location open 7 days a week at 7 a.m. known for having the best coffee, service and breakfast/lunch menu, served in a charming cafe environment.
Requirements
- Barista experience within the Specialty Coffee industry; willing to train the right candidate.
- Hospitality skills along with a natural, upbeat, friendly demeanor
- Team player with ability to be collaborative and supportive
- Organized thinker, maintaining organized clean workspace.
- Responsible, reliable, honest and hardworking taking pride in everything you do.
- POS experience
Skills
- Expert Barista skills creating beverages efficiently and effortlessly
- Time management: Efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality service
- Customer Service/Hospitality skills- experience working in the higher end service industry a plus.
- Observant and focused with strong attention to detail
- Food service: Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Math: Basic math skills for cash handling transactions and providing correct change
- POS: Experience using a point-of-sale system to process transactions
- Sales: Ability to upsell products and promote specials to customers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
