At Hudson Pacific Properties, we provide best-in-class office space to the biggest names in tech and media (Netflix & Amazon), and we're seeking a Manager of Studio Contract Services for our Corporate office in Los Angeles, CA. The Manager of Studio Contract Services collaborates closely with the Director of Business Administration to craft leases, lease amendments, stage license agreements, access agreements, and Indemnity Agreements pertaining to the company’s television and movie studio assets. In this capacity, the incumbent plays a vital role in facilitating the smooth operation of the Business Affairs department by overseeing the studio contracting process on a day-to-day basis. With a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, this role ensures satisfaction among both internal and external stakeholders by managing the entire document lifecycle from drafting to execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review Letters of Intent and spreadsheets containing pertinent lease information from the Sales & Leasing department. Draft office leases, license agreements, amendments and other documents for the company’s movie and television studio assets while ensuring company compliance relevant to real estate and other contracting issues.
  • Liaise between internal departments to assist with coordinating the contract implementation process, including the collection of fees and payments pursuant to contractual requirements.
  • Review document redlines and liaise with Business Affairs management to provide responses.
  • Track and follow-up with internal Sales & Leasing department to ensure all documents are drafted and executed promptly and correctly.
  • Track and update internal lease log as documents are sent to clients.
  • Maintain an audit file for each contract, which will include correspondence, modifications, deviations, amendments, and clarifications.
  • Provide daily reports and analysis to management as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the contract documentation process and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Three to five years’ experience in real estate, contract management or similar experience is preferred.
  • Bachelors’ degree, preferably in Business, Law or other related field.
  • General understanding of the entertainment business.
  • Paralegal certification a plus.
  • Excellent writing skills, including legal document drafting, reviewing, and proofing.
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communications with all levels of organization.
  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated working knowledge of computers and software, including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to problem solve, use independent judgment, and tackle projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and research skills, solid attention to detail, high accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor around clients and executives
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually USD (subject to relevant experience).
