Huckys Pool and Daiquiris is Hiring a Bartender Near Natchez, MS

This is not a supervisory bartending position. Hours will be on an as-needed basis, primarily during the week with some weekends. Bartending experience is REQUIRED. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Use the best judgment for decision-making processes
  • Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times
  • Makes guests feel appreciated through your actions
  • Works as a team with all personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient beverage service
  • Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the Company’s standards at all times
  • Mixes, garnishes, and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of the bar following standard recipes, as needed
  • Inputs drink orders into computer immediately collect money from guests for drinks served and make changes, as needed
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
  • Wash and sterilize stemware
  • Count drinks guests are served and track open bar tabs
  • Anticipates Guest’s needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink; remains alert of Guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledges Guest so they know you will be right with them
  • Learns guests’ names and favorite drinks as needed
  • Responsibly serves alcohol and remains aware of guests’ state of intoxication and do what it takes to ensure other servers do the same
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary, Contract

Pay: From $7.25 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
