HUB International Northeast is a division of a leading international insurance brokerage selling and servicing all lines of insurance. We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our Employee Benefits group. This position will manage and maintain an assigned book of business as well as provide full service management to clients as well as resolve claims and administrative issues as they arise.
Specific responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Acting as a liaison with insurance carriers and as an advocate for clients
Designing benefit plans in conjunction with client needs and financial resources
Processing renewals, including competitive marketing, providing cost effective plan design alternatives, and employee contribution scenarios
Preparing spreadsheets and renewal presentations
Preparing summary plan descriptions and other employee communication materials
Providing clients with periodic financial reports to assess plans’ performance and use as a tool for renewal planning
Maintaining and managing client information in Benefit Point
Maintaining eligibility through insurance carrier portals

4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in a brokerage, consulting, insurance company, or corporate benefits environment
Valid Life and Health License
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills
Superb attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
Knowledge of COBRA, Level-funding, HSA, HRA, FSA, ACA, and ancillary lines including voluntary products
General knowledge of Medicare
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
