Epsilon Worker DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Review project data, emails and scope of work information to create and incorporate into project drawings sets. Develop required project drawing sets for proposals as directed.Develop required project drawing sets for submittals as directedUpdate the project ‘Weights’ spreadsheet as required.Update drawing(s) with changes as directedCreate 2D and 3D models for customers when requestedProvide assistance to senior designers when directed, and interface with the Director of Engineering, or his designate, for clarifications and resolution to issues.Collaborate closely with the internal design team members Assist in the preparation of ‘As-Builds’ for installation and operations manuals when requiredAssist in any other tasks as directed Be willing to travel both domestically and internationally if required ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES: Accountable for the accuracy and quality of the design with technical specifications, and regulatory/statutory requirements as directedAccountable for timely and effective support for request for proposal responsesAccountable for timely and effective support for submittal responsesCompliant to all departmental design practices and processesCompliant with Health & Safety policies and proceduresMaintain an excellent attendance & punctuality record EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Qualified Engineering Technologist / Technician /Draftsman2-5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably within HVACProficient in Solid Works, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, EPDMEmploy a friendly personality, respectful of co-workers and be able to work with individuals as part of a teamAble to multitask and work efficiently in a demanding environment Motivated self-starter with high level of initiative and ability to work independentlyExcellent problem solving, organizational and time management skillsAble to take direction and communicate with others PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that are expected for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
