This role identifies, cultivates, and retains valuable small business customer relationships. By utilizing strong sales and interpersonal skills, comprehensive knowledge of retail and non-retail products, and adherence to regulatory standards, the Senior Executive Banker ensures that clients receive tailored financial solutions, effectively expanding their portfolios and promoting the growth and profitability of the bank. Primary Responsibilities Provides exceptional customer service, actively identifying sales opportunities while explaining and endorsing bank products and services to customers. Provides full-service banking to high-value customers, including financial consultations, product recommendations, and account servicing, while also identifying and referring investment opportunities. Sells financial products and services, promoting bank offerings to eligible customers. Collaborates with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to the customer's financial relationship with the bank. Monitors key customer relationships, focusing on business growth, service quality, and increasing services per customer to enhance profits and retention. Adheres to security policies and procedures to safeguard against bank and customer losses. Identifies prospective customers and nurtures strong COI (Center of Influence) relationships to foster repeat business and generate referrals. Self-sources small business customers by proactively identifying, engaging, and assessing financial needs for tailored banking and financial solutions. Collaborates with the banking team to achieve customer service and sales objectives. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of retail products and services, with a basic understanding of non-retail products like mortgages, insurance, and wealth management. Utilizes sales skills, such as effective listening, needs identification, and relationship-building, to present product benefits and expand customer relationships. Ensures compliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.A.F.E. Act). Secondary Responsibilities Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Work Experience: Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Related Field or equivalent experience required. 5-7 years experience in a banking or financial services role, with a strong background in consumer lending and/or private banking required. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service. Experience in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities and referrals. Familiarity with both retail and non-retail banking products, including mortgages, insurance, and wealth management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent sales and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to expand and deepen customer relationships. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment options, and risk assessment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different customer profiles. Proficiency in financial analysis, including the evaluation of client financial data and investment objectives. Knowledge of banking regulations, including the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (S.A.F.E. Act). Highly ethical and able to maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive customer and bank information. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding sales goals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and as a liaison to other internal departments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in business development, with a proven ability to self-source and nurture relationships with small business owners, driving growth and expanding the bank’s business clientele. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time The targeted salary for this role is: $74,473.00 - $96,815.00 You may also be offered incentive compensation, and benefits.
