Htel Swexan is Hiring a Beverage Director Near Dallas, TX
- Leading all beverage operations, including service, menu development, staffing & people development, inventory, costing, and scheduling
- Ensure proper systems and procedures are in place and consistently enforced to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the beverage program
- Develop a selection, pricing, and procurement strategy of all liquors and wines with collaboration of district sommelier
- Partner with executive chef to provide consistent guest experience
- Interview, hire, and train direct reports and enable all Harwood District concepts to adopt best practices of beverage program management
- Oversee efficient usage of POS systems, inventory systems, beverage lists, and any other material related to the beverage program
- Expertise in food and beverage management
- 3 or more years leading a dynamic beverage program
- In-depth knowledge of wine and spirits required
- Required Level 1 certification from an accredited wine education program, level 2 or higher is preferred
- Stay current on wine, spirits, and mixology and latest industry trends
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
