Htel Swexan is Hiring a Beverage Director Near Dallas, TX
Leading all beverage operations, including service, menu development, staffing & people development, inventory, costing, and scheduling
Ensure proper systems and procedures are in place and consistently enforced to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the beverage program
Develop a selection, pricing, and procurement strategy of all liquors and wines with collaboration of district sommelier
Partner with executive chef to provide consistent guest experience
Interview, hire, and train direct reports and enable all Harwood District concepts to adopt best practices of beverage program management
Oversee efficient usage of POS systems, inventory systems, beverage lists, and any other material related to the beverage program
What you bring to the table:
Expertise in food and beverage management
3 or more years leading a dynamic beverage program
In-depth knowledge of wine and spirits required
Required Level 1 certification from an accredited wine education program, level 2 or higher is preferred
Stay current on wine, spirits, and mixology and latest industry trends
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
