Job Description:

We're seeking a candidate with greater experience to strengthen our project management program. The selected candidate will provide additional capacity allowing us to support project management for the AI initiative and other data projects

Some of the responsibilities are as follows:

• Help refine and automate our project management procedures to improve efficiency
• Manage JIRA for projects and data teams.
• Manage, monitor and report progress for Data Science and Data Engineering projects.
• Coordinate and Manage the AI program.
• Coordinating data and analytics Vendor pilots.
• Design and create reports and dashboards from JIRA data to track team progress.
• Interacting with business units and project team members to ensure clarity of business objectives, project scope, goals, expected outcomes, and deliverables. Coordinates with vendors on the project as needed.
• Performing project estimating, planning, tracking, problem resolution, and reporting using appropriate tools, approved processes, and other project management techniques
• Capture next steps for projects and ensure they are performed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate project communications including follow-up with all involved parties.
• Identifying project stakeholders and providing appropriate communication and statuses to all stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely decisions.
• Organize project meetings.
• Recommend opportunities to improve analytics processes.
• Submit and follow-up on requests for IT project resources.
• Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is delivered with project.

Must have skills:

• Expertise with Agile methodologies and JIRA or other project management software.
• Experience of using Agile methodologies in data projects
• Expertise in creating reports for senior management to provide project statues and metrics
• Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement training is a strong plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, decision-making, conflict-resolution
• Can work independently without much oversight.
• Having P&C insurance domain experience will be a plus.
