Job Description: HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced General Project Manager to lead a critical desktop computing re-imaging project in the context of a merger and acquisition. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating project activities, managing timelines, ensuring effective communication, and overseeing the project's financial aspects. This position requires a background in infrastructure computing asset coordination and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop and execute a detailed project plan, emphasizing timelines and milestones for desktop computing re-imaging.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of project activities.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks to keep the project on schedule.

1. Timelines and Milestones:

• Establish clear timelines and milestones for each phase of the desktop computing re-imaging project.
• Implement strategies to ensure that project activities are completed on time, with a focus on efficient resource utilization.
• Communicate project timelines to stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

1. Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, both internal and external.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, providing updates on project progress, achievements, and upcoming tasks.
• Ensure effective communication channels are established and maintained throughout the project.

1. Infrastructure Computing Assets Coordination:

• Oversee the coordination of infrastructure computing assets, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of re-imaged assets into the existing infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for asset management and configuration control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience in project management, specifically overseeing IT infrastructure projects and mergers/acquisitions.
• Strong background in infrastructure computing assets, including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Experience in Healthcare provider environment is preferable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
