Job Description

The CAD team is growing. We are looking for a new team member to help us expand our services to more clients. The role will be full-time, in-person, and have opportunity for advancement. It is an entry-level position requiring a background in CAD only – cultivation background would be a plus but not necessary. Our team will provide guidance on our methods until our new team member is comfortable executing tasks autonomously and even then we are always collaborating. 

Primary Duties 

• Conduct or assist with site surveys as needed. (take measurements, building layout recording, & sketching)
• Model 2D designs of existing facilities and produce multiple redesigns to meet the needs of the project
• Manage revisions and reline process coordinating directly with clients.
• Generate shop drawings and production drawings from architectural sets or site surveys for presentation to clients, contractors, and vendors
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information; conferring with the architect, engineer, or project manager
• Support the Sales Team in the pre-purchase phase (equipment & parts lists)
• Attend training seminars to learn industry standards regarding cultivation equipment and design

 Qualifications

• Efficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and/or REVIT
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and via written documentation
• Strong attention to pertinent details
• Strong logic and critical thinking skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
• Ability to accurately measure buildings and hand-draw floorplans

 Schedule 

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available
