HRU is seeking a Scheduler to fill an opening with a world class defense manufacturing facility in Minneapolis, MN.

Seeking established experience with Primavera or Deltek Open Plan schedule management software.

Contract: 6 months with intentions to convert to permanent

Schedule: 9x80 schedule – 1st shift

Compensation: $59/hour with optional benefits and paid time off

Onboarding Requirements: Background check/Drug Screen

Job Summary:

• Development Support: Provide assistance in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an integrated master schedule (IMS).
• Progress Monitoring: Responsible for monitoring and measuring progress, identifying and addressing program-wide issues.
• Task Management: Address tasks received from project management and external agencies regarding integrated master schedules and plans.
• Critical Path and SRA Development: Assist in developing Critical Paths and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
• Integration of Activities: Help integrate activities of all functions in the contract to ensure smooth progress towards achieving objectives.
• Problem Identification and Solutions: Define and articulate problems in program conduct, propose and implement solutions, requiring extrapolative thinking.
• Communication: Clearly communicate issues and resolutions to project management both in writing and verbally.
• Presentation Preparation: Prepare presentations for senior management with metrics and data explanations.
• Responsibility for Deliverables: Responsible for contract deliverables related to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
• Meeting Coordination: Assist in coordinating program-wide review meetings with relevant personnel, including setting agendas and recording minutes.
• Follow-up Action Closure: Assist in closing follow-up actions resulting from program-wide reviews.
• Meeting Leadership: May lead program review meetings specifically focused on scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience with an project management software platforms like Primavera or Deltek Open Plan required.
• PMP certification preferred
