Human Resources Specialist

Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Summary:

The Human Resources Specialist provides high-volume HR customer service support to our workforce and HRBPs on a variety of employee lifecycle touchpoints such as onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, relocation, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and act as process owner for a variety of HR programs as leave of absence management, immigration facilitation, unemployment claim management, equity processing and relocation with support from third party administrator relationships.
  • Participate in vendor performance reviews and establishment of service level agreements and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, knowledgebase articles, and FAQs for all areas of accountability. Leverage these items daily to provide consistent administration of processes and responses to our customers.
  • Participate in projects designed to scale for growth such as new vendor partner selection and onboarding, process improvements and the creation of internal communications and education materials to support a rapidly growing workforce.
  • Respond to questions on the programs and policies that touch the workforce across their full employment lifecycle via multiple channels (e.g. e-mail, phone, slack, and case management system).
  • Educate employees on services available to them and encourage self-service tools within Oracle and other systems.
  • Utilize Oracle and other tools to process specific team member-related transactions from onboarding to onboarding, in addition to auditing work performed by other members of the team or via self-service.
  • Provide backup for payroll, benefits and compensation administration as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of progressive experience within a HR Shared Services or generalist capacity.
  • Experience administering HR programs such as leave of absence, relocation, or other employment lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, consistently delivering results within required timelines and expectations.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience handling highly confidential information with the utmost integrity.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  • Previous Oracle and/or ADP experience preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
