HOYER Group is Hiring a Workshop Manager (FT) Near Pasadena, TX
- Responsible for streamlining workshop activities in order to extract maximum performance and improve KPI’s.
- Monitor and evaluate parts inventory, and make decisions in regards to stock with help of subordinate Inventory Specialist.
- Organize, inspect, repair, replenish warehouse items (both materials and tooling).
- Maintain appropriate staffing at all times and provide leadership regarding quality on the jobsite.
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports complete with analysis and direction.
- Collaborate with other site managers, to ensure that workflows proceed timely between departments.
- Negotiate with vendors for purchasing to support operations.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external customers by providing flawless service and communication.
- Provides guidance and training to the staff to assist in their development.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in order to provide zero defects to customers.
- Other job duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
- Must have two years of Management experience in a logistics environment - preferably within tank or trailer maintenance companies.
- Develop effective relationships and provide leadership.
- Successful communication - written and verbal.
- Establish priorities and multi-task.
- Possess professional business demeanor.
