What you'll do:

• Proficient in creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models; Experience with entity-relationship diagrams, normalization techniques, and data modeling tools
• Proficient in designing and implementing data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems. Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) tools and processes. Familiarity with building Operational Data Stores, receiving and distributing data in real-time using event driven architectures, APIs, streaming, etc.
• Understanding of data governance principles, policies, and best practices; Ability to establish and enforce data quality standards and compliance requirements. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of manufacturing industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in data management and architecture. Experience in applying data solutions within specific industry contexts.
• Proven experience architecting data solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead data architecture projects from conception to implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect or in a similar role with a strong focus on data architecture and management.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., E/RStudio, Erwin, IBM Data Architect).
• Expertise in working with various database systems such as relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience in Integration Architecture, Data Architecture and in Data modeling, Database design.
• Relevant certifications in data architecture, database management, or related areas (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), TOGAF, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) is desirable.
• Experience in the design and deployment of an ERP solution in the Manufacturing space or Finance space.
