The CI Manager serves as a thought leader to improve the operational efficiency, execution, and quality of the manufacturing operations. The CI Manager initiates and leads focused quality plans to ensure customer satisfaction and attainment of business objectives.Reporting to the Regional VP, this position delivers analytical & systems expertise, while driving lean initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce cost, improve operational efficiency & the customer delivery experience. applies standards of excellence and advanced knowledge of project management, advanced analytics, lean and end-to-end Supply Chain understanding.Responsibilities:Champions Lean initiatives & Kaizen events, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.Initiates & delivers cost reduction initiatives aligned to the organization. priorities and supported by cost/benefit estimates.Utilizes in-depth understanding, SC benchmarking & best practices to lead strategic multi-step CI initiatives.Delivers improvement across key strategic business goals, including internal and external quality and unit productivity.Ensures CI mindset by embracing/applying operating culture & training the operational team on tools/strategies.Designs and optimizes production processes and/or systems.Delivers analysis of service and production data to identify trends and execute opportunities for improvement.Employs world-class project management methodologies to ensure clear roles & responsibilities, timeline adherence, attainment of objectives, and management of risk & cost.Executes process standardization (SOP) and sustainability.Proactively manages end-to-end cost reduction efforts, anticipating change management needs and defining targets to ensure results are achieved/sustained.Leads discovery & resolution of systemic, complex, quality issues at the site level.Facilitates inventory audits & process improvements, quality (Six Sigma), and efficiency.Skills/Requirements Required:B.S. Degree in Business, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Operations or Supply Chain.Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.3-6 years of related professional experience within manufacturing.Demonstrated ability/application of lean principles/tools and project management methodologies.Proven change management capabilities.Effective negotiation and influence skills that contribute to collaborative environments.Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.Exposure to network-wide Quality Systems Implementation Project Management.Travel requirements 10%.
