Job Description Job Description Hoxton Circle has partnered with a client for an entry-level Accounting Analyst position with a strong skillset in AR/Collections. The role is an fast-fill for the right candidate and will be a contract/temp to permanent hire opportunity. Benefits available through Hoxton Circle during the contract phase before moving to permanent with the client and their benefits. The job is 5-days in office in Salinas, CA.Responsibilities:Interact with clients resolving outstanding invoice issues, requiring account analysis to resolve inquiry.Place collection calls and follow-up calls for allocation of payments with clients.Post and process payments, including audits while managing credit card payments.Set-up new clients and/or new jobs in company database, lien releases and mail prelien notices for each order.Handling reconciliations and balancing of daily cash following company SOPs.Maintain client files and documentation accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting procedures.Various administrative tasks including sorting and distributing mail and helping with answering phones.Daily filing of shipping documents, invoices and purchase ordersFollow up on NSF checks, send to DA or file small claimsWill be required to make bank deposits, when neededIf requested by manager, maintain/edit payroll entries.Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in accounting with an emphasis on AR/collections.Strong Microsoft Suite skills (emphasis on Excel proficiency)Experienced in a customer-centric role with a high volume of interactions with company clients.AA or BA degree nice to have (can substitute degree for some experience)Hoxton Circle is an equal-opportunity employer.
