Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
HR Generalist responsibilities will require application of broad knowledge of HR and hands-on expertise with demonstrated results in several of the following functions/HR processes:
1. Training Coordination:
•Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar to ensure all production employees receive the necessary training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
•Approach on regular basis all direct 0-90 days seniority employees with standard questions to gather key feedback data for correct new hire assimilation in the organization.
•Review training for effectiveness through 90 days.
•Coordinates between all department SPA's gathered items & follow up closure of items.
•Evaluate training effectiveness through post-training assessments and feedback sessions.
•Present summarized reports & recommendations to Plant leadership on regular basis for all new hire follow up.
2. HR Support:
•Assist with various HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
•Serve as a point of contact for employees' HR-related questions, providing accurate and timely information and guidance.
•Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
•Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
•Change management, continuous improvement, organizational effectiveness, and organizational development.
•Manage Affirmative Action reporting.
•Effective strategic communications.
•Compliance issues such as EEO/AAP, FLSA and FMLA.
•Other duties as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIMENT USED:

1. Physical Demands:
•Work requires moderate physical effort including some constant standing and sitting.
•Lifting and carrying is limited to 10lbs. or less.
•Must pass Jaeger I eye exam.

2. Equipment Used:
•Standard Office Equipment.
3. Work Environment:
•Air-conditioned area; exposed to slight degree of noise, oil, dust, fumes, chemicals, heat or cold.
•Requires a fair amount of walking, some days most of the time may be spent sitting.
•Requires wearing safety glasses, ear plugs and Metatarsal shoes, and other department specific PPE.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
•5 years experience in Human Resources with 2 years in manufacturing.
•This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
•Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•PHR, SPHR & MBA are a plus.
•Human Resources Generalist experience in a Manufacturing environment.
•Strong ability to multi-task and connect at all levels in the organization
•Familiarity with HR practices, policies, and regulations.
•Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
•Professionalism, confidentiality, and a customer-service mindset.
