The Arbor Grill Bartender provides exceptional beverage service in a high-volume, outdoor poolside bar atmosphere. Some of the responsibilities include preparing alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders and serve food and beverages. Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Nurture an excellent guest experience. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
Must have 2-4 years previous bartender experience in a high-volume restaurant and/or hotel. TABC Certification is required and must have the ability to learn to use The Houstonian’s POS systems.
