The Door Counter salesperson is responsible for the inside sales of all items in the product line of the Door and Hardware division of Houston-Starr Company (HSC). The position will also assist in the estimating and implementation stages of orders from the estimating/project management team.
.Position is Monday-Friday- no evening or weekend work
· Maintain current relationships with existing customers.
· Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals as set with supervisor.
· Maintain current knowledge of all product lines and items.
· Prepare and maintain all necessary paperwork associated with the position using computer software system.
· Maintain and grow relationships with sales reps from HSC suppliers.
· Order all parts that are not stocked, needed to complete orders sold by the counter.
· Responsible for developing new relationships with clientele for HSC.
· Assist Estimating-sales/Project management as needed.
Minimal local travel for pickups or deliveries
Criminal and motor vehicle background check required.
Must pass drug screening.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
