Job Title: Temporary Nanny/Housekeeper

Position Compensation: Salary range: $36-$40 per hour.

Requested Duration: 1 month

Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:

We are a private family seeking a Temporary Nanny/Housekeeper to provide essential support during a challenging time. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, and capable of managing both childcare and household responsibilities. This position is initially for one month, with the possibility of becoming a permanent part-time position for the right fit. Immediate availability is required, and interviews will be conducted promptly.

Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Care for an 11-month-old baby, including supervising during nap times and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
• Stay with the baby while the mother drops off the kindergartener at school.
• Independently manage the baby's nap schedule, as the baby naps twice a day.
• Walk to pick up the older child from school, a 7-minute walk.

Housekeeping:

• Perform full housekeeping duties, including dishes, toy organization, and children's laundry.
• Assist with general household organization, as the mom values someone who enjoys organizing.

Cooking:

• Prepare plain meals for the children.

Other:

• Must be comfortable with and love animals, as the home has 2 cats and a very friendly elderly dog.
• Take initiative in completing tasks and responsibilities.
• Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to engage in conversation and play with the baby.
• Pickup 6 year old from Kindergarten - 7 min walk from house. 

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in childcare and housekeeping.
• Valid references from previous employers.
• Ability to pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon the offer of hire.
