Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Haddonfield, NJ

Position Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM

Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Housekeeper to join our household in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Our residence is an 8,000 square foot home, and we require assistance with general cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and occasional childcare support for our 1-year-old child. While we have a live-in nanny, we need additional assistance on her days off to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the home, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops.
• Launder clothing, bedding, and towels as needed.
• Make coffee and prepare simple meals or snacks for the family.
• Assist with occasional childcare duties for our 1-year-old child, including feeding, diaper changes, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a neat and orderly kitchen, including washing dishes and putting away groceries.
• Organize and tidy living areas, bedrooms, and other communal spaces.
• Collaborate with the live-in nanny to ensure a seamless transition of childcare responsibilities on her days off.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a housekeeper, preferably in a large household or similar setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently without direct supervision.
• Flexibility to assist with childcare duties as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
