Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to receive, process, and ship parts and other miscellaneous items in a proper and timely manner. This positional is also responsible for dispersing packages to their intended departments, along with unloading shipments upon arrival.

FOCUS:

• Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Receive inbound freight.
• Stock parts in the proper location.
• Ship outbound parts.
• Ensures parts and outgoing items are properly packaged for shipment.
• Perform basic computerized entry of all transactions.
• Maintain and create good customer and internal relationships.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely, in order to load and unload incoming units.
• Must be able to complete heavy lifting of equipment parts.
• Perform basic routine housekeeping tasks, such as maintaining the dock area.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Must follow the Company's safety rules and policies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Basic computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Oral communication over the phone and in person.
• Ability to view a computer monitor.
• Alpha/numeric keyboarding.
• Must be able to lift up 50 pounds of material.
• Requires the use of both hands.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions.
• Potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning material or other toxic materials commonly found in motor vehicle service departments, some of which may be considered health hazards.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Works indoors and out
