PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Housby is looking for a dynamic leader to supervise and manage our mobile rebranding technicians in our Body & Paint Department! This position is responsible for dispatching work to technicians, along with communicating with customers regarding vehicle completion.

EXPECTATIONS:

• Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Schedule and assign jobs to technicians according to their skills and knowledge to promote quality, efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Work with Housby's internal support team on the scheduling of incoming rebranding units.
• Upsell any additional body and/or paint needed repairs that are encountered before completion.
• Follow the status of work to ensure timely completion.
• Update customers regularly, or in the instance of any changes in the repair, based on their preferred method of communication.
• Follow up on assigned jobs by taking shop walks to ensure technicians are proceeding as planned and involve the Body Shop Manager, or General Manager, when issues arise.
• Gather the following information from customers: unit number, payment method, timeline for rebranding, preferred contact method, and condition of the vehicle.
• Open repair orders.
• Explain finished rebranding to customers.
• Write and provide accurate estimates of time and cost to customer.
• Complete story work orders for customer viewing.
• Audit work orders prior to customer billing.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Help the department maintain a 95% or better efficiency level.
• Book and organize travel as needed for technicians performing work on a mobile basis.
• Maintain and create good customer and internal relationships.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Expected to follow the Company's safety rules and safety policies.
• Assist with picking up and delivering customers trucks when necessary.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components and associated repairs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and type effectively in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Previous Microsoft Office experience.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Oral communication over the phone and in person.
• Ability to view a computer monitor.
• Sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
• Alpha/numeric keyboarding.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical, vibrations, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Exposed to some outside weather conditions.
• Some evening hours and weekends may be required.
• Some travel may be required on a National basis.
