Position: Laundry Attendant

Location: Hotel Saranac

Starting Wage: $17.00 an hour, plus monthly monetary performance bonus

Schedule: Full and Part Time Available!

Position Details: Hotel Saranac is looking for a laundry attendant to support the daily operations of our Historic Hotel. The Laundry Attendant’s responsibilities include washing, drying, and folding of all terry and linen. Maintaining the necessary linen and terry stock to ensure that housekeeping has the supplies necessary to complete the daily demands of the hotel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment.
• Availability to work varied shifts, according to the needs of the hotel. This includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel and crouch, regularly lift 40 pounds.

Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:

• Sorting, Washing, Drying and folding of all linen, terry and other textile items for the hotel.
• Removing Stains from items using appropriate procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensuring that the Laundry Facility always remains clean.
• Adhering to all safety protocols.
• To have a thorough understanding of the cleaning chemicals, you will be trained utilizing the “P&G” method.
