Role SummaryJoin our team as a Host for Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by greeting guests as they arrive and seating them appropriately.

Pay Range
This is a Full Time Year Round, Non-Exempt position. The pay rate is $19 an hour.
Core ResponsibilitiesPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the core responsibilities for this position are:

• Greet and bid farewell to all incoming and departing guests. 
• Answer restaurant phones with proper verbiage and etiquette. 
• Assign all reservations to Open Table reservation system and ensure to not overbook any one timeslot or section. 
• Assist in overseeing the restaurant flow in regards to all guest placements. 
• Track and update guest profiles using Open Table Guest Note and Reservation Note systems. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
• Prepare station chart and assign stations to staff following departmental procedures.
• Guide servers, assistant servers, and bus persons in table set-up to ensure optimum service to the guests.
• Communicate VIP arrivals and special requests to designated personnel for follow-up.
• Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine lists; ensure designated amounts are inserted into each menu. Update menus and wine lists as changes occur.

• 1-year experience as a Host or in Customer Service
• Experience in a luxury setting is a plus
• Ability to lift 30lbs
