Title: Painter & Furniture Specialist

Reports to: Director of Facilities

Location: Aspen, CO
Role SummaryJoin our team as a Painter & Furniture Specialist for Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by maintaining hotel facilities, equipment, and guest rooms. Working on special projects as needed.

Pay RangeThis is a Full Time Year Round, Non-Exempt position. The pay range is $20-22 an hour.

Core ResponsibilitiesPlease note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the core responsibilities for this position are:

• Patch and repair drywall
• Paint walls
• Repair and touch up furniture
• Organize and maintain guest room supplies area
• Safely use power and hand tools
• Complete work tickets in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency situations
• Respond to guest calls
• Assist Engineering staff and other departments by providing lateral service
• Perform all scheduled preventive maintenance in public areas
• Log and communicate all essential information in the shop logbook

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in related field
• Valid Colorado driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift 30lbs
