Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist in stocking inventory and replenishing supplies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Must be at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in the respective location)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Note: Brewing experience is not required for this position, but it can be a valuable skill if the establishment offers house-brewed beverages.
