We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for The Madison Event Center, Hotel Covington & Donna Salyers Fabulous Furs.

Principal responsibility is to handle routine maintenance, repairs and cleanliness of all properties and grounds.

Skills and Knowledge:

· Painting

· Plumbing

· HVAC

· Electricity

· Refrigeration systems

· Food service equipment

· Drywall

· Wood working

· Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Standards:

· Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures and standards

· Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management

· Due to the cyclical nature of the business, may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs

· Constantly recommend service and product improvement to better the operation

· Attend all required meetings

· Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures

Physical Demand:

· Continuous standing, bending, kneeling for entire shift

· Indoor and outdoor working conditions

· Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying required of up to 100lbs

· Subject to loud noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions and oils

Qualifications:

· Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members while fostering a harmonious work environment

· Must be able to work unsupervised and able to follow directions

· Must be able to work weekends and on-call shifts

· Ability to work is a fast-paced environment

· Energetic and motivated personality

· Excellent oral communication and listening skills

· Be willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assigned

· Reliable vehicle to commute to various properties
